Rest well Uncle Alan. We have so many fond memories - generally with wine in hand.
Your tricks that kept us enthralled as kids will endure, the girls still think I have eleven fingers!

With a glass of wine in hand and stomachs full of Carol’s excellent food we whittled away many a Sunday afternoon. You were great company, and a joyful person to be around, especially when among friends. I will miss you Alan. Deeply.
You were a Father to your girls but eventually a Father to me as well. I will try to look after them all, just as you would want me to.
